You are invited to Sound Effect workshop where sound is recorded and presented to make a specific storytelling or creative point without the use of dialogue or music. The workshop will cover the following and many more aspects of a sound other than speech or music made artificially for use in a play, film, or other broadcast production.

Barry Kassab, Technical Support Engineer, Shure MEA Growing up, Barry was fascinated by electronics. It could have simply ended there for Barry, but his father continuously supervising and directing his curiosity would ultimately lead to Barry studying Electrical Engineering. Along the years he picked up the electric guitar and by the last year of university, Barry found his passion in Audio engineering. He joined the Shure MEA team as an Applications Engineer carrying is strong portfolio from the field into the vast and diverse products from Shure
Sreejesh Nair - Pro Audio Application Specialist, Avid owns to his credit a span of 11 years of experience as a Sound Mixer in this industry. Sreejesh hails from Thiruvananthapuram, has done B.Tech inMechanical Engineering and mastered Audio Engineering in Sound Studios, Thrissur. He won the 60th National Film Awards for the best Re-recordist of the Final Mixed Track for the film Gangs of Wasseypur. His latest work includes sound mixing for Jagga Jasoos, Udta Punjab, Bombay Velvet and Moor. He is currently working as Solutions Specialist at Avid.
Workshop Schedule: 19 - 25 Nov 2017 (except Friday). Time 17:00 - 21:00 Hrs.
