Control Robots With Gestures Using Leap Motion And Processing- Workshop
Control Robots With Gestures Using Leap Motion And Processing by The Assembly
The Leap Motion controller is one of the most advanced hand and gesture tracking sensors commercially available, with many applications in AR, VR and beyond.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to use the data captured by the Leap Motion to control robotic components interfaced through the Arduino microcontroller from the Processing Java IDE on your laptop. We’ll show you how to process advanced gesture information that the device captures frame by frame and turn it into actionable commands in code for transmission.
- Some programming knowledge
- All materials (including Leap Motion controllers and Arduinos) will be provided
- Bring a laptop with Processing V3.3.7 or later installed - https://processing.org/download/
