Furniture Design 02 | Workshops Course

Model Making, exploring materials and making, testing designs and producing 3D Presentation Models
In this fast paced 5 day Workshops, you will learn the process of how to develop your designs in 3D through a series of steps, from initial sketch model making and drawing, material experiments, testing and exploring your designs to finally producing a client presentation appearance model of your design.
This course may be taken separately, but follows on naturally from Furniture Design 01 | Studio Course where you will have learnt about the Design Process and have the foundations for professional furniture design practice.

Rock Galpin | Course Tutor
Rock Galpin is an established, award winning designer from London. He has over 30 years industry experience as a specialist furniture and product designer, running his own Design Agency in Central London and now Dubai.
Rock has also been teaching part time for over 23 years as a Senior Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London on BA Product Design and MA Industrial Design and MA Design courses, along with running his own online and classroom short courses for the University.
