Introducing flexible Kuka robotic milling system, useful for large format processing materials from foam to wood and granite.
From a 3D file generated using a handheld CMM 3D scanner, the item of your choice can be carved into materials including: marble, granite, plastic, glass & foam.
Milling is a machining process that uses a spinning, multi-tooth cutter to remove material to form a specific structure. These robots can perform the exact cuts and movements needed to produce the highest quality parts. The differing sizes or shapes needed are created with simple robot adjustments, programming, and flexible EOAT (end of arm tooling).
